History
Meadow Swim & Tennis Club, was
founded in 1955...

The pool was opened in
August, 1956...

The Meadow Swim Team was
formed in 1957, the same year as
OMPA (Orinda Moraga Pool
Association).

In 2007/8 Meadow significantly
updated the pool and clubhouse
areas.

Meadow is  home to the annual
Meadow Mini Meet Invitational, the
regional event for “eight-and-
unders”, founded on the principle
that “every kid should feel like a
winner” and seeding swimmers in
individual age brackets based on
their age on the day of the meet.

We are proud of Meadow’s own
Olympian,
Peter Rocca, who won
two silver medals in the 1976
Montreal Olympics in swimming for
the 100 and 200 Meter backstroke.
