The new, state-of-the-art infinity pool offers 6
lanes for lap swimming, a diving area, and a
shallow area for wading & play. The pool is
open from April through October each year. The
hours of operation are 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

Programs
Learn-to-Swim Lessons
The club offers learn to swim lessons for
people of all ages during the Spring, Summer,
and Fall seasons.
Swim Team
Meadow Swim Team offers competitive swim
lessons for children aged 5-18, and a swim
team that has enjoyed unparalleled success in
our community. The coaching staff truly


epitomizes the spirit of this neighborhood club. The swim team also offers a social calendar that will keep your children hopping all
summer long.
Mini Dolphins
The Mini Dolphin program prepares children, who are not yet swimmers, to be successful on a competitive swim team. Generally
this program is best suited for children ages 3 - 5. Children will be allowed to move at their own pace while receiving positive
encouragement from the coaching staff.
Masters Swimming
The Masters program is for adult members and non-members who want to get in shape and improve their swim skills. For your
convenience, there are three different morning practice times in the Spring and two in the summer/fall months.

Chris Horner We successfully recruited Chris Horner from his position as Head Coach at Round Hill Country Club. He also coached for Diablo Valley College, Northgate High School, and Orinda Park Pool. He is an accomplished swimmer in his own right, having qualified for the 2008 U.S. Olympic trials in the 50-meter freestyle.

Jon Behnke Coach Jon is returning to Meadow for his 6th summer of coaching. Jon grew up in Orinda near Meadow but swam for Sleepy Hollow from the age of 6 to 12. He moved on to swim year-round for Orinda Aquatics for 8 years. Jon swam 4-years Varsity at Miramonte High School and swam at the collegiate Varsity level for Denison University for 4 years where he qualified for the NCAA Championship Meet all 4 years and attained multiple All-American titles. Jon’s knowledge of swimming ranges from the Recreational level to the Collegiate level, and he is eager to share his years of experience with the Meadow family. Swimming is Jon’s passion and he hopes to instill that passion in the swimmers he coaches. Jon is graduating this year from Denison University and looks forward to another exciting summer of fun and fast swimming.

Emily Friedmann Coach Emily spent her entire swimming career at Meadow. She returns this year for her seventh summer of coaching. This summer she will help run the 6 & under age group with Coach Claire. Her favorite things about summers at Meadow are the enthusiastic swimmers and parents, team spirit, and positive atmosphere. She is currently a junior at UCSB.

Claire Ivry Claire swam at Meadow from age three to eighteen. She has been a junior coach at Meadow for four years, and this will be her first year as a senior coach. Claire graduated from Miramonte in 2008 where she was a two time captain of the swim team, and captain of the water polo team. She now attends and plays water polo for the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Claire cannot wait for another fun summer at Meadow!

Joe Natina Coach Joe grew up in a swimming family and has been competing since the age of four. He coached for many USS swim clubs since he was 18, but had his first recreational coaching experience last year for Round Hill Country Club in Alamo. Joe competed for the University of California Santa Barbara, and was on the Men’s State Championship team for Diablo Valley College. He is currently in training and will compete for the Walnut Creek Aqua Bears this summer at the US Open.

Tyler Rodde Coach Tyler was born and raised in Napa, California. He swam for the local team starting at age 4. By age 14 he was competing internationally under the direction of Paul Bergen and Bob Bowman. In 1999 Tyler started at the University of Southern California where he swam for two years before a shoulder injury ended his swimming career. Throughout Tyler's entire time swimming he was also coaching. Using the skills taught to him by Coaches Bergen, Bowman and Mark Schubert he instructed children and adults alike in programs ranging from Learn-to-swim to Masters. Coach Tyler is looking forward to having another fun and rewarding summer at Meadow.
