Fall 2019 Junior Development Tennis Program

Fall session will run August 12th-October 31st. (12 weeks) with a Rain Make-up week on Nov. 4th-8th

Players will be grouped by age and ability. If you need assistance choosing the right program for your child please contact Lynne.

3:00-4:00— Beginner/Intermediate Players (ages 6 & under)
4:00-6:00— Advanced Players (ages 11 & up) + Fitness
Tuesday :
3:00-4:00—Beginner/Intermediate Players (ages 7-8)
4:00-6:00—Advanced Players (ages 11 & up) + Fitness
Wednesday :
3:00-4:00— Beginner/Intermediate Players (ages 9-10)
4:00-6:00—Advanced Players (ages 11 & up) + Fitness
Thursday :
3:00-4:00—Beginner/Intermediate Players (ages 7-8)
4:00-6:00—Advanced Players (ages 11 & up) + Fitness
Friday :

Adult Tennis Program

We offer an exciting adult tennis program at Meadow ranging from beginner to advanced players. We strive for the perfect combination of good sport with good social vibes. Meadow organizes several adult USTA teams that compete against other local clubs.

Coaching Staff

A team of dedicated tennis pros lead the Meadow tennis program.

Lynne Rolley

With over 40 years of teaching and coaching expertise at every level, Lynne has been Director of Tennis at Berkeley Tennis Club, Sleepy Hollow Tennis Club and Moraga Country Club; Director of Women’s Tennis for the United States; coached the Fed Cup, Pan Am Games and National Teams; and was named PTR National Coach of the year. Most recently, she served as the Director of Tennis at La Quinta Resort and PGA WEST, consistently ranked one of the top tennis resorts in the United States.

In her early years, she was the first woman to coach a men’s collegiate tennis at St. Mary’s College. Ranked in the top ten as a junior player in the USTA, Lynne is a certified PTR and USPTA Elite Pro 1, member of the ITF International Coaches Commission and 2008 inductee into the Northern California Tennis Hall of Fame. Lynne spent many years coaching top players such as Lindsay Davenport and Jennifer Capriati. She is a renowned speaker and writer for Tennis magazine as well as many other publications; Lynne also appeared on the Tennis Channel with her own academy show. Lynne is a Lamorinda native and looks forward to moving back to our community.

Ashlie Rolley Miller

Ashlie has been teaching at Meadow for the past 2 years. Prior to Meadow, Ashlie was the Director of Tennis at Blackhawk Country Club. Raised in Lamorinda, Ashlie played #1 for Miramonte HS and Division 1 at Cal. Ashlie has been teaching tennis for over 20 years and run many successful junior programs, including the Olympic Club and Berkeley Tennis Club.

Shawn Brown

Shawn has been coaching tennis for 20 years all over the Bay Area. He is a graduate of St. Mary's college where he played Division 1 tennis and went on to the ATP Tour.

Kari Hamlin

Kari started playing tennis with her Grandma at 8 years old. Growing up in the Bay Area, Kari played #1 on her high school team for 4 years and went on to receive a tennis scholarship to Idaho State, where she played #1 doubles and #3 singles. Kari has been teaching tennis for over 15 years.

Fred Saba

Fred is a Fort Lauderdale, FL native. Fred went to high school at the Saviano High Performance Tennis Academy. He was ranked as high as #2 in the USTA 18 and under national rankings. Fred played collegiately at Duke University from 201 to 2014 where he became Duke’s all-time ACC wins leader while earning a degree in psychology. After college Fred went on to play professionally. The then was the assistant coach and hitting partner for Sloane Stephens and a coach at the Saviano HPTA. Fred likes music, computers.
