  • Meadow Cleanup Day

    In an effort to get the Meadow ready for the 2016 swim season, we are having another Cleanup Day on Saturday, May 14. We had a small member turnout in March and have several projects to complete to get the pool looking great before Time Trials!

    To make the event a success, we ask that a representative from each family commit to help for three hours. Coffee, food and drinks will be provided. The day will be divided into two, 3-hour sessions:

    Morning Session: 9:00am—12:00 pm
    Afternoon Session: 1:00pm—4:00pm

    One lucky Cleanup Day participant will win a $100 Visa gift card.

    Bring your work gloves and your favorite tools for weeding/pruning. There will be plenty of jobs for everyone! Meadow will provide the cleaning supplies

  • Summer Practice Begins

    The summer swim and tennis season kicks off today! Practice times for each age group are as follows:

    9/10
    7:45-9:00am (swim) 9:15-10:15am (tennis)

    11/12
    8:45-10:00am (swim) 12:00-1:00pm (tennis)

    13&Up
    9:45-11:25am (swim) 12:00-1:00pm (tennis)

    7/8
    11:30am-12:15pm (swim) 10:15-11:15am (tennis)

    6&Under
    12:15pm-1:00pm (swim) 11:15am-12:00pm (tennis)

    Minis
    1:05-1:45pm (swim)

    REGULAR SEASON AFTERNOON SWIM WORKOUTS
    (Monday/Tuesday/Thursday)

    7/8: 4:30-5:00
    9&Up: 5:00-5:45

  • Time Trials

    Time trials is right around the corner! Please be sure to sign in your swimmers by Sunday, May 15 to ensure they are entered in the meet. We would like to kick of the season right, with all swimmers in attendance for warm-ups and the team meeting.

    12:00-12:30 Coaches meeting and pop-ups
    12:45-1:00 11&up warm-up
    1:00-1:15 9/10 warm-up
    1:15-1:30 7/8 warm-up
    1:30-1:45 Team Meeting
    1:45-2:00 Organize all 8&under Freestyle swimmers
    2:00 Meet begins

    The events will run a slightly different schedule to allow for IM to fall at the end of the meet.
    • Freestyle (some 15/18 swimmers will swim 100 Free)
    • Breastroke
    • Backstroke
    • Butterfly
    • Individual Medley (IM)

  • Swim Team Picture Day

    Mark your calendars for Tuesday, June 21. Team Picture Day is moving to the morning this year! The team photo is scheduled at 9:00am, with individual photos starting as early as 7:30am. Watch for more details in an upcoming digest!
